Bohemia Farmstudio, a space for authentic culture
Bohemia Farmstudio is an independent culture center for the creation and presentation of contemporary art, located in a unique 18th-century farmstead in the Kokořínsko Protected Landscape Area in the Czech Republic. Farmstudio organizes exhibitions, dance and theater performances, creative residencies and plein-air stays, festivals, symposia, workshops, lectures, and other activities related to contemporary art and culture. In addition to its own program, it offers its premises, facilities, and professional capacities to other organizations and associations involved in live culture.
Farmstudio was founded in 2014 by intermedia artist and educator Pavel Matela and has been operating since 2018 with the support of the Farmstudio – Center for Art and Culture association. The premises are undergoing long-term, self-help renovation without support from public funds.

2.5. Rozjařené Farmstudio – spring festival of contemporary art with the opening of the exhibition by the Concept-Object-Installation Studio of the Faculty of Arts in Ostrava and a theater, dance, and music program

Location and Association
The projects will be carried out in Farmstudio cultural centre, a workplace located in a unique historical site of the 18th-century farmhouse in the village of Vysoka. The venue is situated in Kokorin natural reserve, approximately 50 km from Prague. Farmstudio provides the opportunity to use its various workspaces (including the gallery, old house, granary, cellars and more), local materials and tools, plus technical and critical support.
